Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as an adjunct instructor in our Executive Leadership Program in the Economic Development Division. Under general supervision, this individual will prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction; evaluate students’ progress in attaining goals, objectives, and competencies; attend faculty development training, workshops, seminars, and conferences, as needed. Further requirements include assisting with recruitment, retention, job placement efforts, and participation on the program’s advisory board. This position may require day, evening, weekend, and/or online instruction. This position is part-time/non-exempt.
Responsibilities:
The pay rate is commensurate with education and experience, no benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver lesson plans, class schedules, and instructional materials for leadership and management courses
- Facilitate interactive learning experiences that prepare students for executive and managerial roles
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress in attaining course outcomes and career objectives
- Assist with recruiting, marketing, registration, and orientation functions
- Build and sustain partnerships with business, industry, and community organizations
- Stay current with trends and best practices in leadership, organizational development, and higher education
- Demonstrate professionalism, commitment, and flexibility in fulfilling program responsibilities.
- Five or more years of leadership experience at the executive-level in private, government, or nonprofit sectors
- Proven ability to design and deliver professional training, mentoring, or coaching
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Prior teaching, training, or executive coaching experience
- Experience in curriculum design and adult learning
- Demonstrated record of executive or senior management roles
